Lord, I pray that our new president will come to You as a little child, realizing he doesn’t know how to come out or to go in. May he think of himself as Your servant, one who needs an understanding heart so that he may discern between good and evil. I ask that You give him the wisdom he desperately needs to guide our country at this time. 1 Kings 3:7-9
I pray, Father, that our president will be strong and prove himself a man. I pray that he will keep the charge You have given us: to walk in Your ways, to keep Your statutes, and Your commandments… that he will prosper in all that he does and wherever he turns. I pray, Father, for our nation. Here we have the president we have chosen and whom we have desired. We take note that You have set him over us. But if we fear You and serve You and obey Your voice, if we do not rebel against the commandments You have given us, then both our country and our president will follow You. Father I pray that our President will submit to You. I pray he will resist the devil, and instead draw near to You. I pray he will cleanse his hands and purify his heart, humbling himself in Your sight. James 4:7-10

Lord, I pray that You will rid this administration of envy and self-seeking, because confusion and every evil thing comes with such arrogance.
