Father, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of Your throne, O God. I pray that we will consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest we become weary and discouraged in our souls. Therefore, Father, we ask that You strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for our feet... Hebrews 12:1-3, 12
And let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we will reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9
